Sycamore Gap Painting

11 Jan 2016

I may have mentioned that I got a stay wet palette for Christmas and this is the first painting I did after receiving it. The palette is fabulous for keeping your acrylic paints wet whilst you're painting. I was finding that I wasted so much paint before and didn't like to put enough on the palette.

This view is Sycamore Gap on Hadrian's Wall. Made famous by being a location in the Kevin Costner film "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves". I love this view of the wall snaking off over the rugged landscape of Northumberland.

This painting is 16x12 framed and available as a print or card also. Click here to view prices.
